The Kahuna is one of our best-selling hardtails. People love its simplicity and practicality. We brought that ethos to the El Kahuna and built a bike that was multipurpose—capable of riding the local singletrack for hours on end, and still have enough battery to go get the groceries on the way home. Its Shimano pedal-assist motor is powered by a semi-integrated battery and its 100mm fork provides just the right amount of suspension to absorb smaller hits on the trail. 29” wheels with 2.25” tires make this bike comfortable across all kinds of terrain. Often imitated, but never duplicated, the Honzo is a part of Kona’s foundation. The Honzo is the solution for the rider wanting something a bit more aggressive than a traditional cross-country hardtail. A 130mm fork provides just enough suspension to make quick work of technical sections of trail. Whether you’re a seasoned rider looking for timeless hardtail or a newer rider looking to go a bit deeper into the mountain bike world, the Honzo is an excellent choice.

The Lava Dome features an easy-to-use 9-speed drivetrain with a clutch rear derailleur as well as sleek internal cable routing and dropouts. With strong 29” wheels that can accept up to a 2.6” tires, this bike is ready for everything in its path!

For the hardtail enthusiast, the Honzo DL is a quintessential bike to have in your quiver. Featuring an aluminum frame with geometry derived from the Process 134 it’s ready to rip up and down the trails. A short seat tube allows you to run a longer dropper post, and adjustable dropouts allow you to run the bike geared or as a single speed.
